CBNRM is currently being executed in 55 project villages, having been completed through rigorous participatory methods that engage tri-generational participants (children, adults, and the elderly). Alongside the creation of a social map and conducting a transect walk, the emphasis was placed on discussions and collaborative data gathering concerning the effects of climate on biodiversity, water, land, and forests over the past 30 years, as well as the negative impacts expected in the forthcoming 10 years. The gathered data has been recorded in a datasheet, and an analysis by village is presently underway. Once the study concludes, the findings at the village level will be compiled in a tabular format and disseminated to the respective villages to aid in decision-making and planning for future initiatives related to water management, land use, forest regeneration, crop planning, crop rotation, and the enhancement of biodiversity. Furthermore, the CBNRM initiative has facilitated the evaluation of both historical and current practices, in addition to exploring the potential for millet cultivation farming.
